Bazaar Candy for the Holiday Season - Fudge and Caramels - by Linda Maintanis, Governor Francis Farms

'Tis the season for bazaars, and as everyone knows, tis also the season for making bazaar contributions.

While most of us are aware of the usual craft, silent auction and bake table items that we might donate, there are other fun alternatives to these. One of my favorites is making a donation of homemade candy.

Whether you choose classic candies such as Creamy Caramels, English Butter Toffee and Peanut Brittle or something new, like Cranberry Rum Fudge, they will certainly be a big hit at the bazaar.

And items with special appeal are also great for discriminating shoppers. Try the Pralines and the Maple Penuche for a rich flavor that's suitable for gift-giving. Lastly, the Sugar Coated Popcorn  has a ready to eat flavor that will please the palates of both the young and the young at heart!
